The Value Of A #1 Position On Google Can Be Enormous - Tips On How I Do It!

Google is the world's number #1 Search Engine no question about that. The value of a # 1 position on Google can be enormous. You may have hundreds of great web site but they are all useless if nobody can find them.

This is where search engine optimization takes all his sense. Optimizing your website for google is a complicated and steady process.

Google use 100 separate components in their Algorithm to determine how a site will rank when a user enters a search query.

Here are some basic guidelines that you must follow:

1) Build quality content and update it often. Websites that remains static for a long period of time erode in value and loose their rankings.

2) Build Your link popularity slowly and steady. Never flirt with link farms that put up a bunch of crappy links that have nothing to do with your website. Always thing quality over quantity by building natural links.

3) Add substantial and original quality content to your main page by using your main keywords in the text. Remember that beautiful graphics are not helping your ranking at all!

4) Run HTML verification and validation tools to make sure your website is search engine friendly. Poor HTML won't help you to achieve your goal!

5) Over submitting your website won't help you. If you have some links pointing to your site all you have to do is wait. Google will eventually crawl your web site and index it. Over submitting may eventually get you site penalized or even banned from the google index.

These are the highlights that will help you focusing on Google to achieve higher rankings. Always keep in mind that the secrets about search optimization is that there are no secrets. Just hard works!
