Manganese (II) sulfide is a chemical compound of manganese and sulfur. It occurs in nature as the mineral alabandite. Manganese (II) sulfide can be prepared by reacting a manganese (II) salt (such as manganese (II) chloride) with ammonium sulfide:(NH4)2S + MnCl2 → 2 NH4Cl + MnS. The crystal structure of manganese (II) sulfide is similar to that of sodium chloride. Manganese and its compounds are on the Community Right-To-Know List. Manganese (II) sulfide, its CAS NO. is 18820-29-6,the synonyms is Manganesesulfide(mns) ; Manganoussulphide ; Manganous sulfide ; Manganous sulphate ; Manganous sulfate ; Manganese sulfate ; Manganese sulfide ; Manganese(ii) sulphate .This chemical is a green powder.
